AMOLF-director Huib Bakker has been appointed as new member of the Domain Board Science of the Dutch Research Council.

Huib will start this new role on January 1. Next to this new role, he will continue working for AMOLF as group leader of the Ultrafast Spectroscopy group. AMOLF will welcome a new director as of January 1: Bruno Ehrler.

Huib is excited to take on the new role: “I am committed to maintaining and further expanding the strong international position of Dutch Science research. My passion lies in forging new connections and in creating an environment in which researchers and supporters at all levels can get the best out of themselves and each other.”
